The library subscribes to a couple of databases that will help you research the topic of abortion. This is a very controversial topic so it would help if you could narrow down what aspects you'd like to focus on and look at the facts on both sides of the issue. Here are some examples of how you might approach your research:
- fetal personhood
- abortion and ethics
- abortion and exceptions (for rape, incest or mother's health/life)
- fetal abnormalities
- family planning or contraception
- abortion and religion
- abortion and privacy
Try a search in Opposing Viewpoints.
This is a database that the library subscribes to online. Do a simple search for "abortion" and then browse the sections for Reference and Viewpoints. You'll get a pretty good idea of the various arguments for and against.
