Finding enough resources for poetry criticism can be challenging! Here are some options:

1. Come to the Reference room, MLC 2nd floor. Ask for the purple Poetry Criticism books. There is one entry on Linda Hogan's "Heritage." You can also find this info in Literature Criticism Online.

2. Search in Literature Resource Center. Enter "heritage" for the Name of Work and "linda hogan" for Person By/About. There are 3 entries under Criticism and 2 under Biography.

3. Search for books. A simple keyword search for "linda hogan" turns up literary works and critiques of her works alongside the works of other Native American writers. Look for titles about ceremonies and nature. These books may also provide criticism and insight into her OTHER works as well. Ask your instructor if these sources are OK to use.

4. Search in Gale Virtual Reference Library. A keyword search for "linda hogan" returns over 20 hits. You can then add the word "heritage" to narrow these results down to those that mention that poem:
