Hi Christian, 

I've worked on  your question this morning and this afternoon. Unfortunately I'm unsure if you  are referring (1.) to a timeline to produce your research paper, (2.) to immigration reform and/or The Dream Act, or (3.) to problems and obstacles of an English as a Second Language (ESL) student in college. Based on assignment in the LibGuide created for Professor Coleman's class I've gone with the item #2. 

The Dream Act has certain conditions which must be met and which if met will allow an illegal immigrant to obtain a resident card. 

Concerning immigration reform I found several timelines (Note: none of these go up through the current year, 2014.)
