Hi, Ann Marie. This is Tom Bahlinger...I'm a librarian at SAC.

To find good information about the book Native Son, search librarian Stephen Dingman's libguide which you can find at this link...  http://sacguide.libguides.com/content.php?pid=155294  Once you get to the guide:

1. click on the Literature Criticism tab...scroll down and you will see a list of databases.

2. Click on the database Literature Resource Center...you will be prompted to log in...

3. Once logged in, simply typ in Native Son in the Name of Work field, and type in Wright in the Person by or About field. Click Search.

4. You should get 57 articles considered literature criticism.  The first one is entitled "Native Son's Tragedy: Traversing the Death Drive with Bigger Thompson."  Click where it says Full Text, and you can read the article.

You will see tabs at the top that say Biographies...Topic & Work Overviews....  Click on those tabs if you want that information.

Good luck.
