The year was 1968. The seven-story, 188,000-square-foot facility houses the Library, the Student Mega Lab, the S.L.A.C. Lab, classrooms, offices, a coffee bar, technology services, and the campus TV studio. The library is located on floors 2-4 and includes collections, computers, library offices, individual and small group study pods, small group study rooms, and a performance area for presentations and other campus functions.

The architectural firm O'Connell Robertson completed a $16,955,000 four-phase renovation project in July, 2013.  The cost per square foot was $90.20.
